Job Summary:
VIVA Bloom l Primary Care & Aesthetics is looking to hire a Collaborating Physician (CP). In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with the nurse practitioner at VIVA Bloom we ensure consistent, high quality patient care through regular chart reviews, real-time consultation to support patient care as needed, and regular in person meetings with the nurse practitioner.
Duties:
- Collaborating with nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Reviewing and approving treatment plans, medication orders (if applicable) ordered by a nurse practitioner.
- Providing guidance and support to health professionals in diagnosing and treating patients.
- Available for real-time, remote consultation with APRN by phone and/or text.
- Conducting regular meetings and case reviews with the healthcare team to discuss patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with medical standards, regulations, and evidence-based practice.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date medical records and documentation.
- Reviewing 10% of patient charts in accordance with the company chart review policy and procedures, unless otherwise required by state law.
- The collaborating physician should have excellent communication and leadership skills. They should have a strong understanding of medical principles, practices, and regulations to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PLUS, or proficient in a second language, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Board certification in primary care or related field from American Board of Medical Specialties, American Osteopathic Association, American Board of Urgent Care Medicine or Emergency Care, or National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.
- Board certification in primary care or related field from American Board of Medical Specialties, American Osteopathic Association, American Board of Urgent Care Medicine or Emergency Care, or National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.
- Current, unencumbered state medical practitioner license.
- Is not sanctioned, excluded, or disbarred from any state or federal health plan.
- Willing to share malpractice history upon request.

VIVA Bloom is staffed by an experienced nurse practitioner with 16+ yrs of experience and other with 10+yrs experience in the medical field with backgrounds in ED, ICU, Primary Care & Neurology. VIVA Bloom is also in business since 2021, recently expanding from Florida to Houston area, offering its services from concierge where we come to customers preferred place, to treating patients on our suite (opening soon), keeping its headquarters offices in Florida.
