We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant and Laser Technician to support our medical team and ensure a positive experience for our clients.Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our clients' beauty and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Perform esthetic laser treatments, including hair removal and skin rejuvenation, with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and educating them about treatment options and aftercare.
- Assist in retail sales by recommending skincare products that complement the services provided.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in laser technology to enhance service offerings.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming and professional environment for clients.
- Provide detailed treatment plans for clients, tailored to their individual needs.
- Follow established protocols and adapt to the evolving standards in the aesthetic industry.
- Perform blood draws and maintain accurate patient records.
- Keep track of ongoing surgeries and manage patient charts effectively.
- Assist in Vaser Liposuction procedures by preparing tumescent bags and setting up a sterile field (experience is a plus; training will be provided).
- Manage GPLP1 patient charts, call in prescriptions, and conduct follow-ups with patients as needed under the supervision of two medical directors.
- Perform laser hair removal treatments when not actively engaged in medical duties.
- Work independently and demonstrate a solid understanding of the aesthetic industry.
- Be a team player and assist in other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in esthetic laser treatment is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent sanitation practices to ensure client safety.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.
For those with a background in medical assisting but not yet certified as a laser technician, Rejuve Med Spa will provide the necessary training and licensing.
