Job Title: Spanish Speaking Medical Assistant with Experience
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Spanish speaking Medical Assistant to join our Incredible TEAM. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical setting, proficiency in Spanish, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient exams, procedures, and administrative tasks
- Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams in Spanish
- Administer medications, injections, and perform phlebotomy as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards
- Assisting our Nurse Practitioner and Surgeon in minimally invasive procedures
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in Medical Assisting preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish (verbal and written)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and patients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fun, upbeat environment
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
- Experience in a Med Spa Setting, Dermatology, or Plastic Surgery
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
- Certification in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
