We are seeking an experienced/CERTIFIED medical assistant. The role requires previous experience in the Med Spa, plastic surgery, or dermatology industry.
Job Requirements:
- The role requires a combination of administrative tasks and also assisting in procedures.
- Requires candidate to have a minimum of 6 months med spa/derm/plastic surgery experience.
- Must possess a positive attitude, exhibiting excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail with a quick follow up.
- The individual must be a self-motivated, multi-tasker with impeccable time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.
- The ideal candidate must be a quick study that seeks to learn on their own to help solve day to day problems with minimal direction. Must be extremely driven and results oriented.
- **Responsibilities:** - Assist in the examination and treatment of patients, including conducting vital signs, taking medical histories, and administering medications. - Prepare patients for procedures and exams, including providing pre-op instructions and preparing equipment. - Perform various administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, including assisting with procedures. Conduct diagnostic tests, including Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control standards. - Develop strong relationships with patients and their families, providing a high level of customer service.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and follow-up procedures.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring all products are stocked and organized.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety protocols.
- **Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in medical assisting preferred. - Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is highly valued. - Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in aesthetics. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and healthcare professionals at all levels. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. - Proficiency in coding and electronic medical records (EMRs) is a plus.
