Job Summary
The Aesthetician plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients seeking aesthetic treatments. This position involves working in a dynamic environment and collaborating with medical professionals to deliver safe and effective procedures. The Aesthetician will utilize their expertise to perform treatments on patients and ensure a positive patient experience while adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
Duties
- Administer aesthetic procedures in accordance with established protocols, including providing facials, peels, and other services
- Document patient and procedure information accurately in electronic medical record system while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on treatment options, post-care instructions, and potential side effects.
- Establish and build relationships with potential, new and existing patients / clients to promote and sell the medical spas services
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a medical spa setting to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed aesthetician in the state of CA
- Prior work experience at a medical spa is required
- Must be outgoing and people-oriented, with the potential to build positive relationships with team and clients based off pleasant personality
- Must have the strong communication skills and confidence to earn trust of clients via interactions and promote/sell the spa's services
- Must have positive attitude and work ethic, and willingness and confidence to become proficient with new skills
- Proficiency in facials, peels, Diamond Glow, hydrafacial is advantageous
- Familiarity with permanent makeup or other offerings is preferred but not required
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
