**Job Summary:**
As a Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing support to our medical professionals and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. The ideal candidate will possess a Medical Assistant certification and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures, including blood draws for lab tests and aesthetic treatments.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the supervising physician or nurse.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care as needed.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions and answer any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with the medical team to enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing training and development.
**Qualifications:**
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is required.
- Phlebotomy Certification is required.
- Previous experience in a medical or aesthetic setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
