Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical histories.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up communications.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and treatment plans.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Support inventory management by stocking supplies and assisting with product demos when necessary.
Experience
- Familiarity with retail math principles is a plus for managing supplies and inventory.
- Experience with cash registers or POS systems is beneficial for handling patient payments.
- Strong supervisory skills are advantageous for those interested in leading teams or training new staff members.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals alike.
- Ability to demonstrate product knowledge during demonstrations as needed.
Required Schedule: Monday 8:30-5:00pm
Thursday 8:30 - 5:00pm
