We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team at our Yonkers Location and White Plains. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, focusing on their individual needs and promoting overall wellness. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress, utilizing medical terminology as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued throughout their experience.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to enhance patient care.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices.
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the treatment area to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to massage therapy.
- Understanding of physiology knowledge and occupational health principles.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively to tailor treatments accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
