We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team at our Yonkers Location and White Plains. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, focusing on their individual needs and promoting overall wellness. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques, patient assessment, and the ability to create a relaxing environment for clients.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to client needs.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress, utilizing medical terminology as needed.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued throughout their experience.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to enhance patient care.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices.
Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the treatment area to ensure a safe environment for clients.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Proficiency in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage techniques.
Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to massage therapy.
Understanding of physiology knowledge and occupational health principles.
Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively to tailor treatments accordingly.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
English/Spanish are Welcome
