Medical Assistant & Clinical Administrator
Job Description: The Skin Solutions Collective team is a close-knit family of hard-working, passionate, and motivated individuals. We are looking for a Medical Assistant who is interested in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine as well as building relationships with our patients.
In the past, this position has been a stepping stone for many as they gain experience before going on to PA, nursing, or medical school. We strive for our MAs to be efficient and multifaceted, working side by side with different providers to learn their preferences and further connect with their patients. We pride ourselves on empowering our MAs to take on their own procedures, innovate new protocols and processes, and truly be an integral part of an interprofessional healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Previous MA experience preferred but not required. If you have MA experience, but are not yet certified, we will work with you to train you on the job while obtaining your certification
- Associates Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Customer Service and Hospitality experience are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Passion for the skincare business and medical spa industry
- Experience using EMR and scheduling software is a plus
- Dermatology and Plastic Surgery or medical spa experience is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Assist practitioners with all cosmetic procedures
- Efficiently managing patient flow throughout the day
- Maintain a full understanding of all practitioner preferences and procedures
- Assist practitioners with medical charting
- Maintain, and further develop, a full working knowledge of injectable products, current promotions, and services offered
- Maintain room cleanliness during, and after, cosmetic procedures.
- Participate in departmental meetings, scheduled training sessions, and company events
- Assist with administrative duties
- Comply with HIPAA regulations
- Product Inventory and expense reports
- Must be willing to travel between our NYC/Greenwich, CT locations (Hamptons location is seasonal)
