Medical Esthetician - Laser Technician
We're seeking an experienced Medical Esthetician to join our team, specializing in laser treatments and medical aesthetics. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, deliver outstanding results and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
1. Laser Treatments: Perform various laser procedures (e.g., hair removal, skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal) safely and effectively.
2. Patient Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations to understand patient needs and goals.
3. Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans and recommend appropriate products.
4. Skin Analysis: Conduct thorough skin analyses to identify concerns and recommend solutions.
5. Client Education: Educate patients on treatment options, aftercare and product usage.
6. Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient treatments, progress and outcomes
Requirements
1. Licensure: NY state licensed
2. Certifications: Medical Esthetician license, Laser Safety Certification and/or relevant certifications
3. Experience: 1+ years of experience in medical esthetics, laser treatments and patient care.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to handle confidential patient information.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Advanced Training: Training in laser technology, chemical peels, microdermabrasion or other medical aesthetics procedures.
2. Industry Experience: Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology clinic or similar setting.
3. Certifications: Certifications from reputable organizations (e.g., American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery).
