Summary:
As a Full-time Aesthetician/Laser Technician, you will perform a wide range of skincare treatments, including facials, chemical peels, microneedling, Hydrafacial, dermaplaning, CoolPeel Laser and other advanced skincare procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough client consultations, educating clients on skincare routines and post-treatment care, maintaining treatment rooms, keeping accurate client records, staying updated on skincare trends, and upholding high standards of customer service.
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform skincare treatments and procedures according to established protocols and standards.
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess skincare concerns and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Educate and recommend products sold by Aesteem Aesthetics to clients
- Promote membership sign ups
- Attend marketing events associated with Aesteem Aesthetics
- Attend and participate in brand photoshoots
- Assist and maintain accurate inventory count as directed by your manager
- Launder and fold linens daily
- Reshare and promote Aesteem Aesthetics on your work Instagram account
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring equipment and tools are sanitized and sterilized.
- Keep accurate client records and treatment notes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest skincare trends, technologies, and products through continuing education and training.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with other team members, including nurses and administrative staff, to deliver comprehensive care and achieve business objectives.
- Adhere to all state regulations and licensing requirements for aesthetician practice.
Required Skills:
- Valid state license as an aesthetician.
- Laser technician certification
- Experience working in a medical spa or dermatology practice is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality services.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to perform skincare procedures and treatments.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies as needed.
