Our high-end Aesthetics Plastic Surgery practice is seeking an energetic, articulate, gracefully presentable, and self-motivated Front Desk Manager/Patient Coordinator for a full-time employment opportunity.
This position is very customer-service oriented and requires that the individual possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills in English in order to communicate pleasantly with patients, answer phones with eloquence, and interact with other professionals in the office with a positive demeanor. Applicants should be prepared to work alongside other sophisticated individuals and be interested in interacting with prestigious clientele.
Previous experience in customer service and sales is greatly preferred. Applicants must be able to track and convert interested patients with determination. Applicants should be comfortable with administrative duties, thrive on multi-tasking and be meticulously organized individuals.
Attention to detail is highly regarded in this position.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
Basic Responsibilities Include:
- Interacting with patients (must be polished in person and on the phone)
- Answering telephones & scheduling patients for consultations and surgeries
- Coordinate with outsourced billing service regarding patient billing/collections
- Provide administrative support to Physician and office management
- Perform administrative duties such as Physician’s call schedules, coordinate meetings, staff scheduling, reporting, bill pay, invoicing
- Perform basic Medical Assistant duties to assist the Physician with patients (will be trained if needed)
- Must be comfortable with blood and wounds/stitches
- Knowledge of healthcare administrative systems, billing, HIPAA & OSHA policies
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Prior experience working in a Plastic Surgery/Aesthetics/Spa/Medical environment is preferred but not essential
- Oversee day-to-day practice operations
