Master Aesthetician
Summary/Objectives
As a Master Aesthetician in a medical environment, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional skincare treatments and services to our client. Your expertise in various non-surgical aesthetic procedures and advanced skincare techniques will help our clients achieve optimal skin health and rejuvenation while ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
Essential Functions
- Conduct consultations with clients to assess their skincare needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Educate clients on proper skincare routines and product usage.
- Stay updated on the latest skincare trends, products, and technologies in esthetics.
- Promote retail skincare products and provide product recommendations to clients.
- Knowledge of skincare product ingredients and their effects.
- Provide a wide range of advanced skincare treatments, including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and dermaplaning.
- Perform facials, extractions, and other skincare procedures with precision and expertise.
- Refer patients to a dermatologist as needed.
- Attention to detail and precision in performing treatments.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and build client relationships.
- Provide a friendly and comfortable environment for patients to be treated in.
- Handling patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clinical setting with routine exposure to those who may have contagious illnesses. This role routinely requires walking to and from the patient sitting area to exam rooms and frequent sitting and standing while documenting in patient’s charts. It also utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. There is frequent patient contact.

- This is a largely non-sedentary role with frequent standing and walking. This would require the ability to walk frequently on a level surface for periods of time including to and from the patient waiting area and patient exam rooms.
- This position may require reaching above shoulder height or below the waist or lifting as required to retrieve medical supplies throughout the workday.
- Proper lifting techniques are required up to 10 pounds.
- Perform tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, use of a computer and using, storing and cleansing medical instruments.
- Have a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of operation are Monday – Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Fridays from 7:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Travel
Travel is not required in the day-to-day work activities. Travel to attend various conferences for continuing education.
Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of a Licensed Master Aesthetician Program required.
- Master Esthetician license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Master Esthetician
Preferred Experience
- Master Esthetician license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Master Esthetician.
- In-depth knowledge of various skincare treatments and technologies.
- Expertise in performing chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and advanced facials and procedures.
- Strong understanding of skin anatomy, conditions, and disorders.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America. Must acknowledge and agree to the Practice’s policies including the drug and alcohol policies.
