Artavi Med Spa is a medical aesthetics spa located in the upscale Heights Mercantile shopping center in the heart of the highly desirable Houston Heights. Artavi Med Spa specializes in minimally invasive and noninvasive cosmetic medical treatments including botox, fillers, body contouring, laser treatments, Diamond Glow, microneedling, dermaplaning, chemical peels, facials, and more!
We are seeking an aesthetician that will help grow the spa, become an integral member of the business with the opportunity to be promoted in the future as the need may appear.
The employee is responsible for ensuring an outstanding guest experience, building relationships with clients and building up clientele, and selling the value of services and associated skin care products. This job will require excellent customer service skills, a fun personality along with credibility, thorough knowledge on the services and products offered in the spa, high integrity and a hardworking attitude.
This employee will be team oriented, have great decision making skills, be highly motivated, display excellent customer service, high integrity and a rapid learner with the ability to grasp concepts.

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include:
- performing a comprehensive and detailed skin evaluation on customers
- evaluating customer’s suitability for different services and recommending such services
- perform aesthetician services including but not limited to:
- chemical peels, laser skin rejuvenation, IPL, Diamond Glow, dermaplaning, microneedling, RF microneedling and body contouring
- high emphasis on boosting sales of services and products, bringing in new clients and retaining current ones
- be proficient in documentation and use of the EMR software system
- keeping aesthetician treatment rooms neat and clean daily and products displayed as required
- provide excellent customer service
- must be licensed at all times and follow TX state board regulations
- operating and maintaining the laser systems
- share responsibilities to ensure consistent adherence to customer care standards and the use of lasers
- recommending and educating each and every customer on services and products that will benefit them and align with their skincare goals
- cell phones should not be used in front of customers except to post pictures on the company’s social media sites in a professional and thoughtful manner
- be willing to help the company grow and participate in educational activities to further their own knowledge
- should be a team player, respectful of others, and creates an ideal customer experience through a friendly and helpful attitude
- other duties as assigned including proper attire, knowing own work schedule, proper attendance, use promotional tools of spa such as memberships, loyalty programs, promotions, referrals, etc

- active aesthetician license for the state of Texas

Qualifications
- valid Texas state laser certification
- minimum of 2 years experience as an aesthetician, prior med spa or cosmetic dermatology experience
