Medical Practice Manager-Job Description
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of all locations of the practice including staff scheduling, patient scheduling/registration, medical records, data entry, cash posting, office maintenance and computer systems.
- Supervise and develop medical office personnel to ensure maximum efficiency in practice operations including staff selection, onboarding/training, scheduling, and other personnel related activity.
- Ensure practice is providing the appropriate level of patient service and satisfaction including the resolution of patient concerns/issues.
- Manage, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures including employee handbooks.
- Oversee compliance related activity.
- Ordering and maintaining proper medical and Aesthetics supplies
- Overseeing Aestheticians and Aesthetic product sales
- Ability to travel between different locations if necessary.
- Provide additional administrative support to the physicians and advanced practitioners through the completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist with marketing efforts for the practice, developing marketing campaigns, working with website development/maintenance and SEO services.
Qualifications
- Very strong personnel management skills and financial experience is required.
- Knowledge of medical billing practices a plus but not required
- Very strong organizational skills, ability to manage and schedule numerous tasks simultaneously. Multi-task effectively
- Exceptional communication skills. Experience with staff development and providing feedback
- Experience with ADP or other timekeeping software
- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant medical practice regulations.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Hands on approach to team building and willingness to work hard.
- Proven employment record of timeliness, dependability and accountability

Experience:
● 3 years of minimum experience as an Office Manager in a medical office or Hospital setting required, preferably Dermatology, Plastics, Ophthalmology, or Dentistry. Please do not apply if you have not had management experience. This is not an entry level position.
● Experience with medical software and demonstrated knowledge of proper coding (ICD-10) and medical billing process. The billing for the practice is outsourced to a private company. This is not a billing position but knowledge of billing and the ability to explain a medical bill is necessary.
● Proven experience building office culture and cross functional teams to enhance patient experience and practice growth.
Education:
● Associate’s or Bachelor's degree required OR work experience equivalency (5+ years medical practice management experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year
