Join One Mind & Body, a holistic wellness center in Los Angeles, as a Patient Scheduling Coordinator. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, scheduling appointments accurately, and ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for patients
- Schedule appointments with precision
- Coordinate healthcare professionals' schedules
- Verify insurance details and process payments
- Provide information about services to patients
- Maintain patient records with confidentiality
- Collaborate with the team for a positive patient journey
- Manage patient wait times effectively
- Stay updated on insurance policies and procedures
- Assist with administrative tasks and special projects
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification a plus
- Minimum 2 years experience in a medical office
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures preferred
