Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Medical Aesthetician to join our dynamic and growing Dermatology team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aesthetic treatments and a commitment to exceptional customer service, safety, and meaningful outcomes. Please do not apply if you do not have at least 3-5 years experience as a medical aesthetician. Candidates without appropriate previous work experience in the field will not be considered.
Job Duties:
- Perform a range of aesthetic procedures, including, but not limited to, microneedle, extractions, chemical peels, laser treatments, and consultations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, providing exceptional customer service and personalized care.
- Assist in developing and expanding aesthetic clientele through effective communication and professional interactions.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Demonstrate experience in treating various skin conditions, including rosacea, acne, sun damage, melasma, acne scarring, and benign lesions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Cosmetic Consultations and product knowledge.
- Can perform a variety of facial and body procedures intended to increase, improve or maintain the appearance and health of skin.
- Cross-train as a Medical Assistant to assist with dermatology procedures, patient care, and administrative tasks as needed. This will increase your knowledge of dermatological diagnoses, conditions and treatments available as well as improve your aesthetics skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Certification or license in medical aesthetics -Trained and skilled in procedures such as SkinPen, Sciton Laser, chemical peels.
- Proven experience in medical aesthetics.
- Demonstrate experience in treating various skin conditions, including rosacea, acne, sun damage, melasma, acne scarring, and benign lesions.
- Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge in the field of aesthetics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge in Skin Medica, Elta MD,
- Alllergan and Galderma products (filler and neurotoxins)
- Cosmetic Consultations and product knowledge.
- Experience and knowledge in skin care lines such as Skin Medica, Elta MD, SkinCeuticals.
- Can perform a variety of facial and body procedures intended to increase, improve or maintain the appearance and health of skin.
- A passion for beauty and aesthetics with a desire to continuously learn and grow in the field.
Master Esthetician license of 1200 hours or more.
Laser certification encouraged.
Must be willing to participate in a Hands-on demonstration interview to demonstrate prior knowledge and skill base
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.72 - $22.03 per hour
