TITLE: Front Desk Supervisor
LOCATION: Cliff Spa - Snowbird Resort
STATUS: Hourly, Full-time, Year-round
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts range from 5:30am to 10:30pm
SUMMARY
Work and play up in the mountains! Snowbird is looking for a Spa Front Desk Supervisor to work in one of the most picturesque mountain destinations in Utah. Under the direction of the Director and Assistant Director, you will be responsible for scheduling, training and managing our team of Spa Coordinators.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- FRONT DESK SUPERVISION: Coordinates front desk activities, stocks office supplies, maintains a clean and presentable work environment. Exemplifies and enforces dress code, proper use of SpaSoft, and excellent customer service.
- SCHEDULING: Creates front desk coordinators’ schedules. Reviews vacation and time off requests and approves or denies as appropriate to business needs. Responsible for finding or assuming coverage for team members in the event of large groups, staff illnesses and/or emergencies.
- TRAINING: Leads the development and delivery of training protocols of front desk operations and customer service for new and existing staff, and acts as an ongoing resource. Creates and organizes additional workshops to keep coordinators as educated and informed as possible to elevate customer service. Continues personal education to remain current in the field and offers innovative ideas for departmental growth.
- ADMINISTRATIVE: Responds to all professional emails within 48 hours. Conducts individual meetings with each team member quarterly. Communicates regularly, swiftly, and respectfully with all Spa departments.
- MANAGERIAL PRESENCE: Assists all Spa departments with areas that need help. Leads by example. Adopts and encourages changes made by management to promote their success within the therapist team. Ensures that excellent customer service standards prevail in all interactions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- College degree in related field preferred. Additional related work experience may be substituted for education.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Full-time, year-round.
- Shifts vary, may be early morning or late evening. Weekends and holidays required.
- Specific shift: Spa hours of operation vary between 5:30am and 10:30pm.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be prepared to stay overnight for occasional road closures.
- May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continuous work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings. General office conditions prevail.
- Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
