Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Laser Technician to join our luxury plastic surgery and aesthetics practice. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a variety of laser treatments to enhance our patients' aesthetic goals while delivering a high-end, personalized experience. This role requires technical expertise, exceptional patient care, and a commitment to maintaining the luxury standards of our practice. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is highly preferred to accommodate our diverse clientele.
Duties
- Perform a range of laser treatments, including hair removal, skin resurfacing, pigmentation correction, vein therapy, and other non-invasive procedures.
- Conduct thorough consultations to assess patient needs and recommend appropriate treatments based on skin type and aesthetic goals.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care to ensure safety and optimal results.
- Maintain and operate laser equipment, ensuring proper calibration and hygiene standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations for laser use and patient care.
- Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic medical records accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with the medical and aesthetic team to provide a seamless, high-quality patient experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
- Certification as a Laser Technician or equivalent training from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience performing laser treatments in a medical spa or luxury aesthetic environment.
- In-depth knowledge of laser technologies and treatments, including proper skin analysis and contraindications.
- Strong understanding of safety guidelines for laser procedures.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidates are highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
- Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury practice.
- Ability to stay organized and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
