Job Summary:
The Licensed Esthetician administers professional facials, peels, microdermabrasion, facial treatments, and other medical spa skincare treatments to our patients. You must thoroughly understand various skin types, acne, and pre- and post-treatment protocols. You should also possess excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and be willing to lead training sessions on our spa’s specific facial treatments for other staff. Exceptional communication skills and in-depth product and service knowledge are essential to ensure that clients receive tailored wellness and beauty solutions. It's important to note that you must hold and maintain a current state license, as this is a non-negotiable requirement for the role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time for your shift and ensure appointments are conducted within the allotted time.
- Deliver consistent professional medical treatments, adhering to office protocols and accepted certification practices.
- Maintain flexibility in your schedule to support the needs of the practice.
- Properly care for equipment and use products efficiently to assist with cost control.
- Educate and train clients on all services and products, ensuring they are informed about our offerings.
- Actively promote home skincare regimens and document all medical information using the appropriate software.
- Meet retail and service sales goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Uphold high standards of sanitation and sterilization as per legal requirements and spa policies.
- Document all patient treatments and conversations promptly.
- Familiarize yourself with all medical protocols, standard operating procedures, and policies relevant to your role.
- Assist other practitioners with rooming and preparing patients for treatment.
- Guide clients to appropriate services that align with their goals, even if you do not perform them.
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms as required, ensuring they are stocked and ready for use.
- Actively promote all treatments, services, and retail products, including available programs and discounts.
- Address patients’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide immediate and accurate responses to all patient requests, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Work independently while maintaining a positive attitude and contributing to a quality work environment.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Participate in and support training and staff meetings for the medical spa.
- Assist in various business operations as management requests.
- Attend all scheduled training, in-services, and continuing education sessions.
- Leading and training the Esthetician Department.
- Adhere to established pricing guides and discuss any deviations with management in advance.
Position Requirements:
- Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Extensive knowledge of both classic and modern skincare techniques.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Ability to comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality.
- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication, listening skills, and basic computer knowledge.
- Team player who communicates effectively and transparently.
- Courteous and respectful with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Attend two external training sessions per year and share knowledge with the team.
- Maintain professionalism with both patients and colleagues.
- Uphold absolute confidentiality regarding all client and business matters.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Current state license required.
- Minimum of 4-6 years in an aesthetic, dermatology, or plastic surgery practice.
- Experience with Aesthetic Laser Training, preferably with Sciton.
- Experience with microneedling, hydro dermabrasion, dermaplaning, PRP facial treatment, body sculpting, HIFU & RF skin tightening.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
