Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our prestigious high-end beauty services salon. As the Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our salon by managing both employee and customer scheduling with nesse and precision. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Responsibilities:
● Oversee the scheduling of salon employees, including to ensure adequate coverage and optimal utilization of resources.
● Manage site calendar of customer appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and excellent customer service.
● Coordinate with management to develop and implement scheduling policies and procedures that optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
● Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in staffing levels and customer demand.
● Maintain accurate records of employee schedules, time o requests, and availability.
● Act as the primary point of contact for any daily issues that present throughout the day.
● Provide support to salon sta as needed, including assisting with customer check-in/out, answering phones, and handling administrative tasks.
● Implement eective employee management strategies, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, to ensure a high-performing team.
● Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development opportunities for sta.
● Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire salon employees to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets.
● Resolve customer service issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed customer expectations and maintain positive relationships.
● Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-eective procurement practices.
● Implement cost control measures to optimize salon expenses while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
● Collaborate with salon management to develop and execute sales growth initiatives at the local site level, including promotions, events, and client retention strategies.
Requirements:
● Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end beauty services environment.
● Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to eectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
● Proficiency in scheduling software or systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
● Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of scheduling and record-keeping.
● Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support salon operations.
● Knowledge of beauty industry trends and terminology is a plus, but not required.
