Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate aesthetician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of skincare, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies. The aesthetician will provide personalized services to clients, enhancing their natural beauty and promoting a sense of well-being. Exceptional customer service, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of various skincare techniques are essential for this role. The aesthetician will work closely with clients to assess their skincare needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and deliver outstanding services, ensuring a positive and relaxing experience.
Duties:
- Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skincare needs, discuss concerns, and understand their goals and expectations.
- Skincare Treatments: Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, extractions, and other non-invasive procedures, tailored to meet individual client needs.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on skincare products, treatments, and industry trends. Recommend and sell skincare products to clients for at-home use, providing guidance on proper usage.
- Customized Treatments: Customize skincare treatments based on individual client skin type, conditions, and concerns, ensuring a safe and effective experience.
- Sanitization and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, following industry standards and guidelines.
- Client Education: Educate clients on skincare routines, products, and overall wellness practices. Provide recommendations for maintaining healthy skin between treatments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans, products used, and client preferences. Keep track of client progress and update treatment plans as needed.
- Promotions and Marketing: Assist in promoting spa services and products through various marketing initiatives, including events, social media, and collaborations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients have a positive and relaxing experience during their treatments.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification: Valid state license to practice aesthetics.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Aesthetician in a clinical setting
- Clinical Skills: Strong knowledge of skincare techniques, products, and industry trends.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic and courteous demeanor, displaying an ability to assess client needs and provide personalized skincare solutions.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based healthcare environment. Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle a fast-paced work environment and adapt to changing Client needs and clinic priorities. Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Other: Sales and customer service experience is a plus.
