The General Manager must be a dynamic self-starter with the ability to anticipate and solve problems, delegate tasks, and hold other employees accountable.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the daily operations of a busy membership-based massage and facial spa
- Train and supervise the performance of front desk associates
- Deliver excellent customer service to our members and guests
- Maintain a professional work environment for all employees to model their behavior after
- Prepare and deliver employee performance reviews
- Work closely with the owners and regional manager on a regular basis to achieve the spa’s set goals
- Manage inventory and prepare product orders
- Take responsibility for following up on collections of past-due accounts
- Assist owners and staff with marketing promotions and events
- Conduct interviews with potential employees
- Prepare biweekly payroll
- Assist front desk associates with answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and selling memberships
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- 2+ years of management experience in the service industry (ie- spa management, restaurant management, etc)
- 2+ years of sales experience in the service industry (ie- membership sales)
- Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Availability to work a flexible schedule necessary to open and/or close the spa location, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
