The Practice Administrator is responsible for professionally accomplishing operational growth and program development in conjunction with the Practice’s goals and mission. These goals are accomplished through leadership proficiency, clear decision-making, strong communication, and problem-solving skills. The overarching themes for MBAS are excellence in clinical care and customer service alongside Practice Growth and Expansion. Favorable results in these areas is paramount for the practice administrator’s ultimate measurement of success. This position reports directly to the managing physician Partner and maintains timely reporting of activities to him and the partner physicians as requested.
Financial Management:
- Work closely with the Practice leaders and Corporate partners to monitor the financial status of the practice.
- Review all employee compensation and benefit changes with Partners for approval.
- Ensure all purchasing and inventory protocols are being followed in order to maintain practice overhead goals.
- Collaborate on annual volume projections, operating budgets and capital planning as well as variance analysis.
Practice Growth and Marketing Responsibilities:
- Planning and Implementation of all key initiatives that spur organic growth and the launch of new programs and product lines.
- Responsible for oversight of the retail sales efforts, referral marketing and public relations activities.
- Responsible for ensuring superior patient relationships, exceptional Patient Satisfaction Scores and Provider reviews.
Personnel:
- Serve as the key resource to the office manager, staff, and providers to improve organizational engagement, leadership, and partnership.
- Integrate and onboard new practitioners to ensure success as they begin their tenure with the Practice.
- Identify and mitigate barriers as identified through patient complaints
- Analyze internal and external customer satisfaction metrics and other performance analytics to track and monitor staff performance trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement recommended action plans.
Job Requirements:
- Masters or BA in management/personnel/or medical-related program.
- Minimum three years' experience in a medical office leadership capacity.
- Primary experience in a surgical practice is highly preferred, with secondary experience in medical retail (such as cosmetic, aesthetic, or wellness services) is considered a valuable asset.
- Experience in sales or customer service within the medical or aesthetic space (e.g., skincare products, cosmetic procedures, or medical devices) will be a plus.
- On-site presence required in the facility. Remote working is unavailable except for occasional circumstances.
