Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Esthetician/Laser Technician with NY Esthetician License, to treat and help clients experience the best possible skin care. You will be responsible for providing treatment, advice, guidance and recommend appropriate products to help them improve their conditions. The ideal candidate is a team player who is passionate about helping others and has a wide knowledge and experience in the use of different skin care techniques. In the role, you will:
- Provide consistent professional facials by spa protocols and accepted practices
- Administer advanced laser treatments (Fotona 4D)
- Perform microneedling treatments using Potenza
- Effectively communicate and educate our guests with regard to specific skincare concerns
- Actively promote the spa services and products offered as well as programs or promotions available
- Familiarize yourself with and recommend the appropriate skin care products and services to clients upon evaluating the client’s skin condition and other skin care needs.
- Achieve the monthly sales goals for services and products
- Focus on client satisfaction to attain high client retention and positive reviews
- Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously
- Possess the ability to work without direct supervision
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings
- Keep all the rooms and equipment disinfected and clean/disinfection
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of proven experience as an Esthetician in a Med Spa or in a related position
- At least 3 years mandatory experience with laser facial treatments, for skin and facial muscle tightening, wrinkle reduction, cellulite reduction, age/sun spot removal, varicose vein removal, tattoo removal and relief of Rosacea.
- Experience in dermaplaning, peels, and other med spa treatments
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Esthetician problem solving and customer service skills
- Ability to cross-sell products and services
- Passion for helping people
- Strong moral values and discipline with flexibility to work weekends and evenings
- Availability to work at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday each week
- Valid license to practice the profession (Licensed Esthetician or Beauty Therapist)
- Clean background check

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
