What You Will Do:
Summary: Under the direction of the Field Team Lead, this position will be responsible for executing in-office trainings, hands-on trainings, live and virtual seminars, and other technical training classes as needed. These trainings and seminars are designed to enhance the knowledge of the SkinCeuticals brand, protocols, and science to our external customers, staff members, and consumers. This position will work in designated regions and support the training needs of the customers within including, but not limited to, Flagships, SkinLabs, Corporate Accounts, high growth opportunity accounts and accounts new to the SkinCeuticals brand. The Aesthetic Training Manager will also support Education and Sales programs that correlate to the brand initiative (i.e., The Mastering SkinCeuticals Program, social selling, etc.)
Responsibilities:
The SkinCeuticals Aesthetic Training Manager represents the brand both on a large public scale, within virtual and social environments, and within our customer’s offices. They must possess and exemplify a professional attitude and lead with integrity on all platforms and in all interactions. This position must be able to execute impeccable presentations, aligned brand verbiage and represent all touchpoints that align to SkinCeuticals as the Global #1 Medical Skin Care Brand.
LIVE SEMINARS:
- Facilitates customer facing, small and medium sized seminars (10-50 people), in the field utilizing tools and assets provided and delivers consistent messaging as designated on topics including, but not limited to, product knowledge, professional protocols, science, selling techniques, social selling and hands-on training focusing on Chemical Peels and Dermaplaning.
- Assists in recruiting within assigned region for seminars utilizing internal and social platforms with provided assets.
- Logs attendance for seminars in our CRM, Salesforce, utilizing predetermined coding for tracking purposes.
- Collaborates with local sales team members to gain maximum ROI by utilizing the exclusive seminar offer for each engagement.
- Manages logistics for all field-based, in-office trainings; manages logistics for all live seminars within assigned region (in collaboration with the sales leaders) including sourcing locations, contract execution, meeting needs, gratis and final attendee lists within a given budget for each event.
VIRTUAL SEMINARS & SPECIALIZED TRAININGS:
- Delivers customer facing virtual seminars to our B2B customers (10-125 people) utilizing tools and assets provided; delivering consistent messaging as designed on topics including, but not limited to, product knowledge, professional protocols, science, selling techniques, social selling, chemical peeling and assisting hands-on pre-learning courses.
- Delivers excellent education via streaming services (ZOOM and TEAMS) and exemplifies SkinCeuticals branding displays in backgrounds as well as appropriate product positioning.
- Sets up all displays, participant guides, and demonstration products at in-office trainings consistent with leadership directives and plans for consistent delivery of content.
- Prepares monthly reports, which will include, but are not limited to, a calendar of training activities, budget utilization, summary of feedback from trainings, and all corporate required forms such as expense reports per timing parameters.
- Enters all virtual participants into our CRM, SalesForce, for tracking purposes within 5 days of a virtual seminar.
- Collaborates with local sales team members to gain maximum ROI by utilizing the exclusive seminar offer for each engagement.
IN-OFFICE TRAININGS:
- Coordinates with local sales team to create a consistent and fair rotation ensuring every territory can utilize the Aesthetic Training Manager in an effective and impactful manner.
- Delivers in-office trainings with contractual strategic partners including Flagship accounts, Corporate Account partners, Skin Labs and other high potential opportunities identified in collaboration with the Regional Sales Director.
- Optimizes time in territories by collaborating with local sales team members to deliver in-office training to prospective accounts, existing accounts with high potential, new accounts that meet the minimum qualifier, and/or accommodate reasonable training requests.
SOCIAL SELLING:
- Supports in office selling events as identified by Field Team Lead and Regional Sales Lead aligning to the overall social selling initiative.
- Collaborates with the Regional Sales Director, Business Development Manager, and/or Account Executive to manage a social selling calendar to drive growth within the region.
Program Development (in collaboration with Field Training Team Lead):
- Contributes to current training programs, as needed, with ideas for new product materials, training materials, participant tools or other new techniques to meet the needs of our external customers.
- Assists in the research, development, and delivery of new training programs in accordance with needs assessment performed in the field, including expanding current programs.
- Keeps abreast of competitors’ activities and actively shares information and ideas that will impact future success.
OTHER
- Attends SkinCeuticals tradeshows, when assigned, for pertinent professional meetings; manages treatment suites, if applicable, at major medical/industry meetings based on the need and in collaboration with Medical Affairs.
- Maintains clear, consistent, and proactive communication between sales, leadership, and customers in correlation to in office training initiatives.
- Maintains a stocked, clean, and organized detail bag(s) and seminar totes to support all technical trainings and seminars.
- Regularly attends trainings offered through L’Oreal USA (MyLearning) and other learning sites to broaden scope of expertise.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree (preferred)
- Must hold and maintain an active aesthetics license
- Minimum 2-4 years hands-on training experience and/or equivalent related work and educational experience
- Must be able to travel to in-office training sessions, sales meetings, trade shows, corporate office as necessary to meet the training objectives and business needs of account executives and accounts. Travel is 70% of role.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft suite, ZOOM, TEAMS; SalesForce.com experience a plus
- Valid US driver’s license
