Medical Assistant/Aesthetician Position
Advanced Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine is seeking a part time Aesthetician. Our office is located in the South Loop of Chicago, IL. Advanced Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine is a small company and growing rapidly which can provide you the opportunity for growth in your position and within the company. Advanced Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine has three providers, two dermatologists and one physician assistant who provide cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services to their patients.
Qualifications:

- Willingness to assist with training new staff and support the clinical team

Aesthetician Responsibilities:
- Must be a Licensed Aesthetician or enrolled in an aesthetics program
- Track individual payment collections - products, medical and cosmetic services
- Communication with patients through our EMR/portal
- Knowledge of skin care concerns, treatments, and diagnoses
- Knowledge of skin care products
- Knowledge of laser devices
- Knowledge of chemical peels and facial services
- Follow up with your patients pre/post treatments
- Ability to understand and manage complications
- Review consents for treatment
- Ability to consult and assess patients properly
- Assist with social media and marketing
- Excellence in sales and upsells of procedures and products
Schedule: Must be able to work Monday thru Friday, shifts will vary. Possible Saturdays in the future
Education: High school diploma/Graduate of a certified Aesthetics program
License: Aesthetician
Experience:
- Laser devices: brands: Aerolase, cutera excel V, Gentle max pro LHR
- Superficial and Medium depth Chemical Peel include TCA
- Microneedling with and without PRP as well as RF Microneedling (ex: morpheus)
Medical Aesthetics – 1 year mandatory
Dermatology – 1 year mandatory
Pay: pay will be a combination of hourly salary and commission with upside potential for estheticians to make $50 / hour or even more dependent on their sales ability and production.
