Overview
NUA Medical Spa at Charlottesville Dermatology is seeking an upbeat PA/NP to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a passionate, dedicated, and skillful provider with an eye for aesthetics and a passion for wellness. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with a variety of treatments, including dermal fillers, neurotoxins, lasers, RF microneedling, fat reduction treatments, body contouring, other advanced skin procedures, PRP, & so much more.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct consultations with clients to understand their aesthetic concerns, desired outcomes, medical history, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs
- Develop customized treatment plans based on client goals, anatomy, and aesthetic preferences
- Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions, potential side effects, expected outcomes, and ensure they have a clear understanding of the procedure
- Perform injectable treatments. Including but not limited to neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and biostimulators. With precision and expertise
- Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of care and exceptional patient experiences
- Proficiency with patient EMR, charting, Word, Excel and other software skills
- Accurately maintain and update client records, photography, obtain consents, detailed documentation of procedures performed, and products or equipment used.
- Uphold the practice's reputation for excellence by adhering to professional standards of conduct, ethics, and patient confidentiality. Support the vision and uphold the mission, values, policies and procedures of the company.
- Perform additional administrative office tasks and other duties as directed and assigned.
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in aesthetics practice
- Board certified Virginia licensed Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant
- Deep understanding of facial anatomy, facial aging, skin related conditions and aesthetic principles to achieve exceptional results for clients.
- Strong proficiency in EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for sales and client relations.
- Demonstrate strong procedural, technical and anatomical competency of injection techniques for the various aesthetic injection procedures offered
- Proven selling skills and strong business acumen comfortable discussing pricing program with patients
- Open to learning new techniques and procedures and brand language
- Understanding of social media engagement
- Laser treatment experience preferred
