This position encompasses the opportunity to work alongside an oculoplastic surgeon providing medical management for oculoplastic and cosmetic surgery patients.
An ideal candidate will be patient-focused with a love for working in the medical and aesthetics field while being part of a great team by working with an Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Kristin Tarbet. Provide great customer service for the following patient services: schedule patient appointments, obtain and verify demographic and financial information through the pre-registration process, complete patient registration by obtaining consent for medical care and financial agreement, process patient paperwork, coordinate care with other services, triage patient telephone calls to clinical staff, and provide information about services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide a great patient experience by offering personalized service during the patient registration process including greeting the patient, collecting and/or updating demographic and financial information, and collecting co-pays.
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with patients and visitors, assist in the completion of various documents and patient paperwork.
- Schedule all provider appointments including appointments for aesthetics.. Ensure pre-certifications/ prior authorizations are received and interpreters are obtained when necessary.
- Ability to upsell products and services.
- Assist with Social Media marketing.
- Maintain skin-care display.
- Participate in outreach activities.
- Promote aesthetics services to in-office patients and on the phone, encourage new sales, and increase client retention.
- Color matching for patients with make-up line post-procedure.
- Prepares and maintains for completion and accuracy electronic medical charts/records, forms, registration materials, and other related documents according to the company policies and procedures.
- Assures compliance with all HIPAA regulations concerning the use, retrieval, storage, and sharing of medical records.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, G-Suite environment.
- Willing to help in all areas, have the flexibility and effectively work in a team environment.
- Demonstrates excellence in communications skills and ability to convey ideas and information, verbally and in writing.
- Skills in problem-solving, time management, and adaptability to a changing environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Aesthetic experience is required.
