We are seeking a highly motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our medical spa team in Stamford.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care and support our providers. Experience working in a medical spa/ cosmetic dermatology/ plastic surgery practice is a huge plus but not required. Candidates must be certified medical assistants and have excellent communication skills and pay close attention to detail. Must love medical aesthetics and be willing to learn and be part of a fun team!
Responsibilities:
- Prepping trays and product throughout the day for providers.
- Scheduling patient appointments.
- Assist patients in completing intakes, demographics, and consents.
- Conducting patient before and after photos.
- Maintain an organized, sterile, and safe work environment for patients and staff.
- Checking all lasers/devices ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available and functional for the day.
- Applying numbing medication prior to procedures.
- Assisting providers during all procedures.
- Restocking of all rooms and back of house lab.
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant Certification.
- Willing to travel to Stamford.
- Flexibility to work Mon, Tue, Thur and Fri, full-time.
- English. Spanish speaking a huge plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in assisting with medical procedures and having a thorough understanding of safety protocols and patient care standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and always provide excellent patient care.
Pay Range: $23/hour start put will reconsider based on experience.
Experience is not a must but preferred.
