Job Summary:
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clinics. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various laser equipment and systems, ensuring their optimal functionality and minimizing downtime. Your strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise will be crucial in this role.
Status: Full-time
Location: 100% Travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of equipment, machinery, or systems, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, high voltage, and cooling systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, replacing, and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential breakdowns.
- Customer Service & Technical Support : Provide world class customer service by promptly responding to work orders, addressing clinic concerns, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Diagnostic Testing: Utilize appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques to assess equipment functionality, identify faults, and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Calibration and Adjustment: Conduct calibration and adjustment procedures to ensure equipment accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and services performed, using computerized maintenance management systems (Salesforce). Prepare detailed reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and potential improvement opportunities to our Service Technicians and/or internal stakeholders.
- Inventory Management: Responsible for accurate inventory counts from all service and repair activities within our inventory management system. Including shipping, receiving & technician tool kits.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations while performing service activities. Identify and address potential safety hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Training and Development: Stay updated on new technologies, equipment, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional development. Attend training sessions or workshops as required to enhance technical skills.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
- Previous mechanical, electrical, and technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment required.
- Refrigeration/HVAC certification preferred.
- Proficient in using various testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Salesforce, Slack & Google Suite experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Physical stamina to lift and move up to 80 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Willingness to travel 100% of the role, on a predictive & non-predictive basis, including weekends or evenings.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must live near a U.S. major airport
