Neoderma is looking for an Aesthetician who has experience in Medical Aesthetics to join our team.
Seeking a part time Aesthetician to collaborate with our team of providers . Ideal candidate is professional and possesses a welcoming attitude. Responsible for providing exceptional service and administering skin treatments. Must have thorough knowledge of the skin and enjoy educating patients, bilingual a plus.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Provide professional skin analysis and treatments per clinic protocol.
- Ability to effectively perform all skin treatments.
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of products to be cost effective
- Must uphold the standards of sanitation and disinfection as directed by state board.
- Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
- Inform management when retail products are running low and need to be restocked.
- Through knowledge of ZO Skin Health, Skin Better Science professional skin care lines a plus.
- Address concerns and patient questions knowledgeably and professionally
- Must currently hold and maintain state Esthetician license ( State of California)
- Previous experience of 1-2 years required
- Ability to handle difficult/sensitive situations professionally
- Possess complete knowledge of all services and products while educating patients.
- Strong verbal communication skills a must
This position is ideal for an aesthetic provider who is looking to expand their medical knowledge and aesthetic skills in Orange County on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, friendly, professional appearance and has a positive attitude. This position requires patience and a genuine interest in helping our patients achieve optimal aesthetic results.
The ideal candidate should have years of clinical and aesthetic experience including 1 or more years specializing in facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and skin care. Candidate will also have a positive attitude and great customer service skills. Neoderma management considers all aspects of your work experience, certifications, advanced skin care training, and aesthetic background in determining your qualifications.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Primary duties consist of candidate performing high quality service/treatment, collaborating with medical team to promote the best possible results for each patient's individual needs and following through on treatment plans and provide quality care to our aesthetic patients. This position will focus primarily on DiamondGlow treatments, chemical peels, at home treatment protocol education and follow up and facials . Candidate will educate patient, offer appropriate services and treatment plans to assist the patient in meeting their skin/beauty goals.
To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Be reliable and on time for shifts, appointments and perform services within the
appropriate time allotted for the service.
* Provide consistent professional Diamond Glow treatments, facials and chemical peels with medical spa protocols.
* Effectively inform and educate our patients about specific aesthetic concerns. Provide patient with treatment plans to help guide them achieve their goals.
* Handle patient’s questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
*Document treatment records and charts for each patient
* Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
* Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
* Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
* Properly handle and care for equipment and aesthetic tools
* Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, retail as well as programs and promotions.
* Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the Medical Spa.
* Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
- This is a part-time position requires a minimum availability of up to 8 hours every Saturday and 1 weekday every week and 2 Sundays a month.
- We offer a hourly base rate starting $21-25.00 + commission (DOE)
- Our general hours of operations are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday thru Sunday. The workdays and hours for this position may vary.
- We may offer additional training to a well-qualified esthetician.
