Registered Nurse - Clinical Operations Aesthetics & Outpatient Plastic Surgery

Full Time - Day shift (M-F, 7:30a-4:00p, no weekends or holidays)
Position Objective:
To efficiently and effectively support clinical and aesthetic operations for the ambulatory plastic surgery practice. Clinical duties will be split to include both supportive patient care services in addition to providing direct cometic/aesthetic services. Duties will include triaging incoming calls and providing a variety of nursing treatment functions, including assessment of symptoms, prioritizing patient appointments, and in-office cosmetic services and procedures. This position will aid and serve as a liaison between treating physicians, referring physicians, patients, families, nursing staff and referring facilities to promote quality and continuity of patient care.

- Review and prepare patients charts for clinic & provide ongoing education to patients and families about treatment options, expected outcomes, post-procedure care instructions, FMLA and/or return to work forms.
- Triages incoming calls to include medical questions, medication inquires, post-procedure inquiries, & follow-up/Post-Op calls to patients.
- Monitor and ensure patients complete required pre-operative testing, review results in collaboration with provider, and communicates results and recommendations to patients.
- Perform cosmetic injectable treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, and other aesthetic procedures.
- Perform laser services and micro-needling treatments according to established protocols and best practices, and assist Physicians with other in-office procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with our team of professionals to ensure seamless patient care and treatment coordination
- Assist in creation and coordination of external Marketing and community engagement efforts to include creating social media content
- Obtains patient vital signs and prepares patients for examination by physician as needed.
- Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their needs, expectations, and desired outcomes, including knowledge & ability to recommend skin-care products for patients.
- Develop and maintain customized treatment plans to achieve optimal results while ensuring client satisfaction
- Assists with stocking and managing clinic and aesthetic supplies and equipment as needed.
- Strong ability to work independently, delegate, and to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
- 2-3 years of related clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Experienced in Cosmetic Injectables preferred.
Required License/Certifications:
- Current Maryland Board of Nursing license.
- CPR through the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers level).

Physical Demands -
Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
