Position Summary:
Lead and drive technical projects from inception to completion, leveraging deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and the Microsoft Power Platform. Manage platform upgrades, ensure adherence to SDLC standards, and contribute to process improvements. Provide critical guidance through all project phases, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership: Lead technical delivery of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and Microsoft Power Platform projects. Oversee end-to-end deployment pipelines from sandbox to production.
Project Participation: Engage in discovery, requirements gathering, testing, training, and go-live support. Act as a solution advisor during design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
System and Process Expertise: Maintain and upgrade D365 F&O and implement platform updates. Provide broad functional and technical knowledge of D365 modules and the Microsoft Power Platform. Evaluate finance processes and recommend improvements.
Collaboration and Communication: Interact effectively with teammates, stakeholders, and executives. Develop strong internal and external relationships.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to SDLC standards and contribute to process and methodology improvements. Monitor and implement updates for D365 and related Microsoft platforms.
Documentation and Design: Write comprehensive functional design specifications
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives
To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience combined (one year of experience equals one year of education) required
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a D365 F&O Engineer/Admin required
Strong technical understanding of D365 Finance & Operations modules required
X++ experience required
Proven ability to streamline processes and reduce month-end close timelines required
A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with an ability to move quickly to resolve issues and drive improvements required
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle complex ERP issues required
Familiarity with integration points for D365 with other finance systems and tools required
Excellent communication skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration required
Experience with Treasury Management or other financial integrations within D365 preferred
Familiarity with ticketing and support systems for issue tracking preferred
Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage vendor relationships preferred
