We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
We are looking for multiple candidates to fill this role as follows:
- Full time: Front Desk with Social Media background
- Full time: Front Desk with Assistant Managing skills
- Part time: Social Media only - must have business references and be able to show work done in a professional capacity
- Full time: Front desk with medical background
Duties
- Greet and welcome clients as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Manage the scheduling of appointments and maintain an organized calendar.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register or POS system.
- Assist with upselling products or services where applicable to enhance customer experience.
- Supervise front desk operations and coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Provide support for retail sales by assisting customers with product inquiries and stock availability. Knowledge of skincare is required.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a spa or scheduling is required.
- Previous experience with social media is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for clients.
- Proficiency in cash handling, including experience with cash registers or POS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Experience in supervising staff is a plus but not required.
- Mindbody Software experience is preferred
