Position Overview:
As a Medical Assistant at The Skin Elite, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assisting with weight loss injections, supporting our injectors during procedures, managing front desk operations, and performing other duties as required in a medical spa setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is professional, organized, and enthusiastic about the beauty and wellness industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations: Greet patients warmly, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, check in patients, and maintain a smooth flow of operations.
- Assist with Weight Loss Injections: Prepare and administer weight loss injections under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Support Injectors: Assist with cosmetic injectables, including dermal fillers and Botox, by preparing the treatment area and assisting injectors during procedures.
- Patient Care: Take patient medical histories, update records, and ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
- Medical Office Duties: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. Sterilize equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
- Administrative Support: Handle patient paperwork, process insurance claims, and assist with billing and other office tasks.
- Additional Responsibilities: Assist in any other tasks as assigned by the management team to ensure a smooth operation of the medical spa.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical, aesthetic, or spa setting is preferred.
- Certifications: Must be a certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or equivalent. CPR certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to follow medical protocols and procedures.
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing top-tier customer service in a healthcare environment.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, injectors, and other staff members.
