Position Summary: Responsible for analyzing and providing customized skincare treatments to a variety of cosmetic dermatology patients. This position will provide aesthetic services, procedures, and recommend retail products to help improve and maintain the health of a patient’s skin.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.

Provide various skin treatments for patients that may include:
- Aesthetic procedures that require physician oversight such as Photorejuvenation, CoolSculpting, PRP and Microneedling.
- Laser hair removal, body and facial hair
- Chemical Peels
- Microdermabrasion
- Various other cosmetic procedures
Prepares patients for treatment, positions instruments and equipment, interviews patients, explains procedures and treatments to patient to ensure understanding.
Observes each patient, records significant conditions and reactions
Records all pertinent information in patient’s chart, accurately codes all services provided.
Consults with patients regarding skin care needs, procedures, outcomes, problems, etc.
Assists providers as needed with patient’s skin care
Oversees and provides skin care and cosmetic products for patients.
Maintains inventory of products and reports on sales of products
Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity in accordance with Health Information Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and excellent customer service.
Participate in department or unit quality improvement activities.
Responsible for greeting and assisting customers upon walk-in.
Perform front desk duties as needed.

Experience Requirements:

Experience working in a medical setting; dermatology or plastic surgery preferred

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an accredited program
Maintain appropriate state licensure
Current CPR certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

Ability to communicate in an active multi-office environment
Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment
Ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions
Basic to intermediate computer operation
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
