Position Summary:
Our River North location is seeking an experienced Aesthetician to join our talented team. The ideal candidate is an outgoing and polished professional who has a passion for sales and is highly motivated to succeed in their new role. This candidate is comfortable performing a variety of medical aesthetic services and can safely perform a range of modalities, ensuring customized treatments with exemplary results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely performing a range of highly skilled aesthetic services and modalities in a timely manner, including but not limited to:
Customized facials, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, Extractions, HydraFacial, Glo2 or Geneo Facial, Chemical Peels (Dermal and Superficial), Microneedling (with PRP is a plus), RF Microneedling, IPL laser, Ultrasonic, Radio Frequency, and High Frequency
- Understanding active ingredients and histological response when recommending and educating patients on skincare products/routines
- Identifying skin conditions and treatment contraindications, displaying clear understanding of appropriate protocols needed to safely treat a wide scope of skin concerns
- Conducting highly organized and comprehensive consultations and skin analysis, clearly articulating procedures and post-care to patients
- Creating detailed treatment plans for patients, cross-selling and up-selling services, promotions, and skincare products across all areas of V/O Med Spa’s offerings
- Achieving key sales targets through meeting or exceeding individual goals
- Building strong patient relationships and maintaining a booked schedule
- Following-up with new patients and reporting any adverse reactions to management or medical director
- Accurately reviewing client health history forms and adhering to protocols; Recording and documenting all patient interactions in detail, including clear before and after photos
- Maintaining a pristine environment, sanitizing rooms thoroughly in between each new patient, including daily laundering
- Social media marketing contributions for personal business growth, general knowledge of front desk practices, and other assigned tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in medical aesthetics
- Confident, sales-driven individual who is comfortable setting personal sales goals and achieving metrics
- Active aesthetics license, certified in the state of Illinois
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
