We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Patient Coordinator to join our team. The Front Office Patient Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front office, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. This role requires strong administrative skills, medical /aesthetics knowledge, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Time Management: Efficiently manage your time to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them appropriately. This includes balancing administrative duties, patient inquiries, and other responsibilities to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the day.
- Appointment Booking: Utilize our appointment scheduling system to book and manage appointments for patients. You will need to accurately enter patient information, select appropriate time slots, and effectively communicate appointment details to both patients and healthcare providers.
- EMR System Management: Proficiently handle electronic medical records (EMR) systems to retrieve and update patient information accurately. This includes maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all relevant privacy regulations while navigating the EMR system efficiently.
- Phone Handling: Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, providing assistance or directing calls to the appropriate staff members. You will be responsible for gathering necessary information from callers and ensuring accurate message taking and forwarding when necessary.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors by offering a warm and welcoming environment. Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, aiming to resolve issues promptly or escalating them to the appropriate personnel.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning and faxing documents, and acquiring patient reviews. Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination and communication. This may include relaying messages, sharing important updates, and assisting with other tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
