We are looking for a positive, energetic, and customer-service focused Medical Assistant to join our Aesthetic and Wellness Center in Sugar Land, TX. This role will be primarily responsible for providing direct support to our front desk. The ideal candidate will have previous Med Spa experience but we are willing to train the right person. Mindbody experience will be a huge positive. Must possess great communication skills, enjoy interacting with our patients/staff and be motivated to learn.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the check-in/check-out patients, collect payment at time of service, and promote any current specials to new and existing patients to maximize sales.
- Answer phone calls in a timely, courteous, and professional manner, and provide comprehensive knowledge of procedures provided at our Practice.
- Schedule patients on MindBody and use RxPhoto
- Assist in administrative tasks including maintaining accurate patient records in EMR and other patient logs/systems.
- Enroll patients in Aspire and Alle rewards, as well as other loyalty programs.
- Hold a high level of professionalism at all times while interacting with patients, patients’ families, visitors, and staff.
- Maintain a positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and professional attire at all times.
- Practice patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and follow all Company protocols, policies, and procedures at all times.

Skills and Requirements:
- Med Spa experience highly preferred
- MindBody experience required
- Friendly customer service mindset
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive
- Eager to advance their knowledge in skin care and aesthetic treatments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well in a team and independently
- Ability to work well with physicians and other providers, anticipating their needs regarding patient treatment
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Takes initiative, reliable and punctual
- Handles constructive criticism
- Empathetic with patient needs and concerns
- Phlebotomy skills are a plus
- At least 1 year experience in a customer service oriented medical environment
