This position would be for one of 6 DFW locations.
We are looking for a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that has endocrinology and OBGYN background. The right candidate should exhibit a strong desire to continuing education. They should demonstrate a commitment to excellent patient care, be a team player, self-motivated and detail oriented with a polished professional attitude.
Practitioner roles and responsibilities will include:
· Diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic illnesses through the use of bio-identical hormone replacement, diet, exercise, and nutritional supplements; including functional medicine therapies such as IV infusion of vitamins and minerals.
· Conducting physical examinations and thorough medical history.
· Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (i.e. extensive blood work up and procedures and determining a holistic approach to treating the patient accurately based on such tests.)
· Perform in-office procedures such as aseptic pellet therapy placement, blood draws, intramuscular and subQ injections, aesthetic injections such as neurotoxins and fillers, etc. Minimum 2 year injectable experience preferred.
· Manage ongoing treatment to ensure optimal health and patient retention.
- Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns.
- Actively participate and collaborate with the Medical Director and management in the organization’s Quality Assurance program.
Other responsibilities:
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by patients.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
- The ability to cross promote all the services that the spa has to offer (i.e. chemical peels, injectables, skincare, body sculpting, hormone replacement therapy)
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
- Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
- Be on time on your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Texas license in Advanced Practitioner role, or eligible to apply if licensed in a compact state
- Graduate level degree or higher
- Current certification with a national credentialing center (ANCC, AACN, or NCCPA)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a NP/PA preferred.
- Current NPI and DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years injecting preferred
- Sales experience a plus
Experienced knowledge of Bio-identical Hormones and aesthetic injections is a plus, however, we can train you if the passion is there. Experienced Provider preferred. Must have experience or a desire to work with functional medicine to include anti-aging and bio-identical hormones as well as diet and nutrition. Master’s degree required preferably in Women's Health or Adult/Family Practice.
