To better serve our community, we are seeking a creative and talented Part-Time Social Media Manager to elevate our online presence and connect with a broader audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Posting: Develop engaging, visually appealing, content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. Familiar with WeChat is a plus.
- Social Media Strategy: Plan, implement, and manage a content calendar that highlights our services, promotions, events, and success stories.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner, fostering a positive and engaging online community.
- Platform Management: Optimize our presence on both Western and Chinese social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track social media metrics, analyze performance, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work with the spa team to gather content ideas, showcase treatments, and capture behind-the-scenes moments. Coordinate with photographers/videographers for professional content creation when necessary.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on social media trends, particularly in the beauty and wellness industries, and recommend innovative strategies.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice, aesthetic, and values.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on all services, treatments, and product lines offered by the spa to provide accurate and helpful recommendations.
- Event Participation: Assist in planning and attending promotional events, open houses, or special sales events to attract new clients.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills.
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the beauty, wellness, or medical spa industry.
- Strong skills in content creation, including photography, videography, and graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms such as WeChat, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), or Weibo is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite) to track and report performance.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with an eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
Schedule & Commitment
- Part-time position, approximately 10-20 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule with occasional on-site content creation during business hours.
