Job Summary
Located in Westland, Michigan just minutes from I-275 and Ford Rd/Ann Arbor Rd. Exits, Revitalize Trim Spa is the area’s premier luxury weight loss spa. We provide our patients with a variety of services to assist with weight loss, weight management, and overall wellness in a luxury spa environment. Revitalize Trim Spa is seeking a full time Office Manager / Medical Assistant to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate will be someone who has at least three to five years of experience in medical office management, but we will consider someone with less experience who embodies the personal qualities that align with our values and team culture. While professional skills are essential, we place equal importance on honesty, integrity, reliability, adaptability, problem-solving, resourcefulness, collaboration, and a positive attitude. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, while prioritizing customers is of the utmost importance.
This is a great opportunity for a medical professional looking for a significant amount of autonomy in establishing the operations of a luxury weight loss spa from the ground up. Prior experience working in a startup or small medical practice is a significant advantage. A natural affinity for sales and the ability to close deals is highly beneficial. This role will give the person the chance to lead and gain experience and exposure to the weight loss and wellness spa industry at a rapidly growing medical practice working alongside a team that is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. We are willing to work with the right candidate, who has less than the ideal amount of experience but exhibits the right personal qualities, displays a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn quickly, has strong references from prior employers and has formal training in healthcare management or a related field.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Leadership Expectations:
- Proven ability to recruit, train and manage staff effectively
- Ability to take full responsibility for the location’s operations on a daily basis
- Experience in setting up medical office workflows, policies and procedures
- Experience managing budgets and billing/collections processes
- Punctual and reliable in opening and/or closing location daily.
- Ability to generate and explain management information reports for ownership.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Experience taking vitals and the ability to administer injections
- High level of computer literacy, including experience using MS Word and Excel
- Ability to access and accurately record electronic health records
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with patients
- Back office duties, including but not limited to: answering phones, sanitizing patient rooms, filing and data entry, etc., as needed.

Knowledge Requirements:
- Significant experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
- Medical assistant duties and responsibilities
- Medical office management duties and responsibilities
Educational Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, business or related field (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM) credentials (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant credentials, a plus (Preferred)
This is a full time position with hours on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
