Bella Cosmetic Surgery and MedSpa is a unique and exciting brand for concierge cosmetic surgery and medical aesthetic services located in National Harbor. This position requires in-person work at our National Harbor office. Remote workers will not be considered.
We are looking for an energetic, motivated, dynamic and creative person to produce a professional image of this brand online and in the office. The appropriate candidate will ensure active customer engagement through digital outreach.
As the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing patient images, gathering online reviews, and developing innovative campaigns. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging social media posts, executing cross-branding initiatives, and leading community outreach efforts. Additionally, you will develop and implement social media marketing strategies tailored to our industry and market, ensuring content is geographically and culturally appropriate.
This position requires that the candidate support the mission of Bella Cosmetic Surgery and MedSpa while cultivating a strong community around the practice and brand.
Responsibilities
- Develop ideas for compelling content that adheres to required branding and style guidelines
- Manage the writing, proofreading, and copy editing for various channels including online platforms and print materials
- Respond to reviews, comments and messages in a timely manner with a sense of compassion, warmth and professionalism
- Manage online reputation on all online sources which include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Yelp, RealSelf, Google Business and LinkedIn
- Capture and share before and after photography with patients
- Manage media related consents and identify images to be used in marketing campaigns
- Obtain reviews from patients for sites such as Google, RealSelf and others identified by practice
- Develop social strategies and headlines
- Develop site appropriate content in all digital media formats (text, blog, videos, photos, etc)
- Capture marketing and creative content daily by photographing and filming procedures and communicating with patients and office visitors
- Schedule consultations/appointments through online sources
- Build, manage, and drive traffic to the company’s social media profile and presence through performance marketing activity on major digital platforms
- Create curated events specific to the nuances of the local community beauty fingerprint. Strategically aligns these events to the marketing calendar – and provides direction and execution guidelines to all team members.
- Assist with PR and multi-tiered influencer strategies to deliver positive ROI
- Develop relation with our partner company representatives and integrate our brand with their marketing campaign and opportunities
- Support Web site development team and coordinate sharing content
- Identify and execute new opportunities to improve existing operations and initiatives
- Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to Influencer Marketing, PR, and social media.
Qualifications
- Experienced in content development for social media
- Experienced video developer
- Excellent photography and videography skills
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
- Excellent customer relations
- Ability to multitask with obsessive sense of organization and punctuality
- Be a great storyteller and able to translate technical medical concepts in laymen terms
- Ability to handle common technical internet and computer issues
- Have a passion for new technologies and emerging trends. Be an early adopter of technology, and be comfortable traversing in both design and technology.

- Minimum of 2 years of online and offline marketing management, Plastic Surgery/Medical Spa or other Aesthetic Industry preferred
- Strong track record of elevating brand(s) in tangible and multi-‐dimensional ways, demonstrated by a design portfolio including interactive, social, video and print with work for comparable brands in the cosmetic/beauty/retail/aspirational lifestyle * Available portfolio of previous work
- Bachelor's degree in social medial marketing or related field.
- Should exude a fresh, luxury, fun sense of aesthetics and style that resonates with Bella Cosmetic Surgery’s brand as well as its audience.
