We are seeking a highly professional, personable, motivated and sales-oriented individual to join our team of hard-working, caring professionals as our new Front Desk Representative at Plastic Surgery Arts of New Jersey & Medspa.

Plastic Surgery Arts of New Jersey and Medspa has locations in New Brunswick, NJ and Skillman, NJ and provides surgical and non-surgical services for the breast, body and face.

Overview

This unique opportunity is for someone who enjoys both the traditional healthcare and the high-end customer experience in a well recognized plastic surgery and medical spa practice.

Candidates must have a highly professional and courteous conduct with an emphasis on confidentially and professional appearance. We are looking for a team player with a “can do” attitude and the ability to drive sales. Our Front Desk Representative will be responsible for the entire customer experience. Our ideal candidate is passionate about aesthetics and the customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

Check patients in/out in a timely & professional manner
Timely and accurately enter or update the patient information in the practice management system, scan insurance cards/ID and any outside documents.
Check insurance eligibility, collect referrals if needed, collect co-pays and other fees, where applicable.
Answer phones in a timely and professional manner, direct calls to appropriate person, take messages and check voicemail messages.
Monitor physician schedules daily and communicate schedule changes, appointment issues and potential insurance issues.
Complete daily reporting, record keeping and reconciliation.
Solicit feedback on customer experience.
Other duties and general administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Completion of relevant certificate program preferred, College degree highly preferred)
1+ years of relevant medical / medspa practice experience
Strong communication skills
Excellent sales & marketing skills
Neat, professional appearance
Proficient with computers and fax machines.
Experience with practice management software (ie EMA) and Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Ability to work between both office locations (New Brunswick, NJ and Skillman, NJ).
