Full Job Description

Must hold a CURRENT Alabama Cosmetology and/or Esthetics Instructor license.
Schedule (Seeking Applicants for EVENING Positions):
Night Shift: Tuesday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 9:30 pm
(2) Saturdays a Month - 8:45 am - 3:00 pm

Prepare and utilize approved daily lesson plans and curriculum.

Deliver meaningful instruction daily that includes but is not limited to, demonstrations, practical applications, lectures, testing, skills assessments and review classes.

Conduct detailed monthly academic reviews on student progress, classroom evaluations and student attendance. Enter all grades, credit hours and work-based assignments.

Be a valuable industry resource for your students.

Monitor student attendance daily. Report any continual absenteeism to Administration on a timely basis. (More than one day absent- the student needs to be called by the instructor.)

Check student’s time-sheets daily for accuracy and approve all credits earned.

Ensure all students follow Dress code.

Cooperate with fellow instructors and staff.

Utilize all school and media resources at your disposal to deliver effective instruction.

Maintain a current license in the state of Alabama.

Stay current with industry trends.

Adhere to the AL State Board of Cosmetology Safety and Sanitation procedures...

Be a positive role model and mentor for the students.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.50 per hour
