Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Injector to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be proficient in medication calculation, preparation, and administration. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. As a Nurse Injector, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic and therapeutic outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer injectable treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, and other aesthetic procedures to patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history and current health status to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns, answering questions, and educating patients about procedures and aftercare.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in injectable techniques, products, and safety protocols.
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment during all procedures by adhering to infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (NP or PA) with relevant experience in a clinical or aesthetic setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to injectable treatments.
- Proficiency in patient care practices and the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Experience with medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Aesthetic training or certification in injectable procedures is preferred but not mandatory.
