Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team at Prestige MedSpa. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled providers and help deliver top-tier aesthetic treatments to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical assisting, a passion for the beauty and wellness industry, and a desire to support both patients and providers in delivering a wide range of services.
You will be working Wednesday and Thursday and PRN fridays.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers during medical aesthetic treatments (e.g., Botox, dermal fillers, laser procedures).
- Administer injections and provide injection teaching to patients.
- Take patient vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen levels.
- Measure body areas for body contouring or weight loss treatments.
- Educate patients on procedures, aftercare, and follow-up care.
- Perform pre-treatment assessments and document in patient records.
- Assist with IV infusions and EKGs (if trained).
- Cross-train to support front desk operations during peak times.
- Ensure treatment rooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Qualifications & Certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Experience in Aesthetics: Strongly preferred, but experience working in a medspa or patient care setting is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Current BLS certification (CPR) is required.
- Experience with Injections or IVs: Certification or training in administering injections or IV therapy is a plus but not mandatory (training available for the right candidate).
- Knowledge of Aesthetic Procedures: Familiarity with common medspa treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, laser therapies, or body contouring is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
