Kao Spa is looking for a skilled and passionate Esthetician/Facial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our spa, you will be responsible for providing top-quality facial treatments and skincare services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of skincare, a gentle touch, and a commitment to delivering a luxurious and relaxing experience for every client.
Duties
Perform a variety of facial treatments tailored to clients' skin types and needs.
Conduct skin analysis to determine the most appropriate treatment and skincare regimen.
Apply advanced skincare techniques and use professional products to achieve optimal results.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment area at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each client has a personalized and soothing experience.
Educate clients on proper skincare techniques and recommend suitable products for at-home use.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in skincare and facial treatments.
Manage client appointments and maintain accurate client records.
Assist in promoting facial treatments and skincare products to enhance the client experience.
Skills
Required Skills:
Certification or licensure in esthetics with a focus on facial treatments.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a spa or skincare environment specializing in facials.
Expertise in performing a variety of facial treatments, including cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and moisturizing.
Strong knowledge of different skin types and conditions, and the ability to recommend appropriate treatments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene and sanitation standards.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with advanced facial treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, or LED light therapy.
Knowledge of premium skincare products and the ability to recommend personalized skincare regimens.
Sales experience or the ability to upsell facial services and products.
Bilingual in English and another language.
Familiarity with Google Calendar for scheduling and client management.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
